mimik Releases mimOE Embedded Edition for AMD Processors
mimik launched mimOE Embedded Edition to operationalize Agentic AI on Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Ryzen AI Embedded X100 Series processors for industrial automation.
mimik released mimOE Embedded Edition, a software package that integrates its Agentix Operating Engine with tools optimized for the Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Ryzen AI Embedded X100 Series processor. The release focuses on moving Agentix-Native systems from proof-of-concept to production by enabling autonomous agents to reason and act directly on industrial devices.
The software addresses a critical operational gap where multi-agent workflows rely heavily on the CPU, with mimik finding that over 80 percent of these operations occur there rather than on the GPU. To improve performance, the toolset optimizes memory efficiency by loading shared models once across multiple agents and tenants, utilizing a balanced compute approach across the CPU, GPU, and NPU.
Sam Armani, senior vice president of business development at mimik, stated that while the industry has solved intelligence, it has not solved operationalization. He noted that existing cloud tools do not fit these living systems, which behave differently by nature. Yousef Khalilollahi, corporate vice president and general manager of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., added that agentic AI is shifting compute toward workloads that exercise all three processing units together.
