Eliyan Corp, a Silicon Valley chip interconnect startup, reached a $1 billion valuation on July 29, 2026, after closing a $145 million Series C funding round. The investment was led by Seligman Ventures, with additional participation from Cisco Ventures and Lumentum.
The company develops electro-optical interconnects, including NuLink PHYs and NuGear chiplets, designed to eliminate power and bandwidth bottlenecks in AI chip clusters used for large language models. Eliyan intends to utilize the new capital to scale manufacturing, accelerate research and development, and expand its partner ecosystem.
As part of the financing agreement, Umesh Padval, Managing Partner of Seligman Ventures, will join the Eliyan Board of Directors. CEO Ramin Farjadrad stated that the funding will allow the company to accelerate product development and customer adoption as traditional system connectivity reaches its limits.
