Uttarakhand CM Assures Rishabh Pant Help With Land Acquisition

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant requested assistance from Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to acquire land in his native state. In a series of social media posts shared while on tour in Sri Lanka, Pant stated he had spent three years attempting to find a sufficiently large property to shift his base from Delhi to Uttarakhand, describing the procedural difficulties as a "nitemare."

Pant expressed a desire to return to his roots and build his first home in the hills to contribute to the state's development. While he initially mentioned that a gift would be lovely in recognition of his international representation, he clarified that he is willing to purchase the land from the government at official rates.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami responded by calling Pant the "pride of Uttarakhand" and welcoming him back. Dhami instructed state officials to contact the athlete and provide all possible assistance and cooperation in accordance with state rules and the law.
