Youngblood Coffee Roasters Abruptly Closes Downtown Fargo Location
Youngblood Coffee Roasters ceased operations at its downtown Fargo location and deleted its digital presence following long-term issues with state business standing.
Youngblood Coffee Roasters abruptly closed its specialty coffee shop at 623 2nd Ave. N in downtown Fargo by Tuesday, July 14, 2026. The closure was marked by the complete removal of equipment and exterior signage, as well as the deletion of the business's website and social media accounts.
Founded in 2016 by Tim and Elisha Griffin to bring West Coast-style coffee culture to the region, the shop had faced administrative challenges. The North Dakota Secretary of State's Office revealed that Young Blood Coffee, LLC struggled to maintain good standing with the state and had received an Annual Report Dissolution Letter in May 2025.
Some customers noted a sign mentioning maintenance on the Sunday preceding the closure. This shutdown follows a trend of recent closures among local coffee businesses, including Third Drop Coffee and Twenty Below Coffee Co.
