GTCR and Elliott Negotiate Acquisition of CCC Intelligent Solutions
Private equity firm GTCR and Elliott Investment Management are in advanced talks to acquire automotive software provider CCC Intelligent Solutions.
Private equity firm GTCR and activist investor Elliott Investment Management are in advanced negotiations to acquire CCC Intelligent Solutions, a software provider serving the automotive insurance and repair industry. The potential deal, which could be announced as early as next week, drove CCC shares up approximately 11 percent in extended trading.
CCC Intelligent Solutions provides operational management software to automakers, parts suppliers, repair shops, and auto insurers. The company previously engaged Morgan Stanley to advise on a potential sale. This development follows earlier reports that online vehicle auctioneer Copart had expressed interest in the company.
CCC was previously owned by Advent International, which took the company public in 2021 and fully exited its investment in 2025.
