Birchcliff Energy Appoints Rebecca Schulz to Board of Directors

Birchcliff Energy Ltd. appointed Rebecca Schulz to its Board of Directors on August 5, 2026. Schulz currently serves as the Vice President of Regulatory and External Affairs at Whitecap Resources Inc. and brings a background in public service, having previously served as Alberta's Minister of Environment and Protected Areas, Minister of Municipal Affairs, and Minister of Children's Services.

Jeff Tonken, Chairman of the Board, welcomed the appointment and stated that Schulz's experience and expertise would strengthen the company's board. The Calgary-based oil and natural gas company focuses its operations on the Montney Resource Play in Alberta.
