Three Michigan House Races Remain Undecided After Election

Three U.S. House congressional races in Michigan remain undecided as officials count the final votes to determine the state's 13-seat delegation.

Three U.S. House congressional races in Michigan remain undecided following the general election, though Democrats have secured overall control of the U.S. House. While Republicans and Democrats both held their respective safe seats, these three toss-up contests will determine the final composition of the state's 13-seat delegation.

In the 4th District, Republican incumbent Bill Huizenga holds a narrow lead of 600 votes over Democratic challenger Sean McCann, with 92% of the vote counted. In the 7th District, Democrat William Lawrence leads Republican incumbent Tom Barrett by 7,000 votes, also with 92% of the vote processed.

In the 10th District, which was vacated by John James, Democrat Christina Hines leads Republican Michael Bouchard by 26,000 votes. Over 95% of the ballots in that district have been counted.
