Canadian Cabinet Ministers Respond to Auditor General Audit Reports

The Government of Canada scheduled a media event on October 29, 2026, at the House of Commons Foyer in Ottawa to respond to performance audit reports issued by the Auditor General of Canada.

Several cabinet members attended the session to address the findings and answer questions from accredited members of the Press Gallery. The participating officials included Minister of National Defence David J. McGuinty, Minister of Justice and Attorney General Sean Fraser, Minister of Health Marjorie Michel, and Minister of Government Transformation, Public Works and Procurement Joël Lightbound, alongside Parliamentary Secretary Wade Grant.
