In-N-Out Burger Eyes Expansion Into Three Southern States

Lynsi Snyder announced In-N-Out Burger is considering expansion into Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi to leverage existing supply routes between Texas and Tennessee.

Owner and president Lynsi Snyder announced that In-N-Out Burger is considering expanding its footprint into Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi. During an interview with Terry Crews, Snyder explained that these states are viable options because they lie along the supply route between the company's Texas warehouse and its existing locations in Tennessee.

While no specific timelines were provided for these three states, Snyder confirmed the chain plans to open its first New Mexico locations in Albuquerque by 2027. The company, which operates between 300 and 400 locations across 10 states, previously expanded into Washington and Tennessee in 2025.

Snyder emphasized a strategy of conservative, steady growth to maintain brand quality, denying that the company is growing rapidly. In addition to interstate expansion, the chain is planning numerous new stores in California. One such project in Palm Springs required extensive negotiations with the city's Architectural Review Committee to create a custom design that maintains the brand's identity while meeting local requirements.
