Taraba Governor Pledges Full Support for President Tinubu in 2027
Governor Agbu Kefas declared Taraba State is 100 percent for the All Progressives Congress and pledged support for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.
Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas pledged the state's full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 presidential election. Speaking after a meeting with the president at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, Kefas declared that Taraba State is "100 per cent" for the APC.
Kefas attributed this political alignment to federal government interventions in security, infrastructure, healthcare, and education, stating that these efforts have strengthened the confidence of residents in the current administration. He identified himself as the leader of the APC within his state during the visit.
Beyond political endorsements, Kefas used the meeting to welcome the president back from an overseas vacation. He also offered condolences regarding a Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash in Ondo State, which he described as a national tragedy that claimed the lives of military personnel and other citizens.
