Accord Party Endorses Bola Tinubu for 2027 Presidency

The national leadership of the Accord Party and Governor Ademola Adeleke endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party's presidential candidate for the 2027 general election. The decision was reached during a meeting on Saturday night in Osogbo, attended by state chairmen and national officers.

Party leaders stated that the endorsement is intended to ensure the Tinubu administration completes critical infrastructure projects. Specifically, the party highlighted the importance of finishing the Lagos-Calabar Coastal road and the Sokoto-Badagry highway.

During the proceedings, the party also addressed the upcoming August governorship election in Osun State. Leadership cautioned against the use of security forces to intimidate members and warned against electoral violence and manipulation in the lead-up to the vote.
