BJP Holds New Delhi Meetings to Launch National Leadership Team

The Bharatiya Janata Party convened its newly reshuffled national leadership in New Delhi to plan for upcoming elections and the Modi@25 campaign.

The Bharatiya Janata Party held a series of organizational meetings in New Delhi on August 22 to integrate its newly appointed national office-bearers with senior state-level leadership. Chaired by party president Nitin Nabin, the day-long exercise began with a recitation of 'Vande Mataram' and focused on introducing a 65-member team, which includes 51 new faces. This follows a major reshuffle announced on August 17 that appointed 13 national vice-presidents, eight national general secretaries, and 16 national secretaries, including the appointment of Piyush Goyal as National Treasurer.

The meetings focused on defining roles for media engagement and grassroots coordination while establishing priorities for upcoming Assembly elections in seven states next year. Leadership also discussed long-term planning for the 2027 electoral cycle and the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.

A primary agenda item was the finalization of the roadmap for the 'Modi@25' campaign. This nationwide series of programs commemorates Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years in public life since he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001. Key participants in the planning sessions included Nitin Nabin, B.L. Santosh, and Vinod Tawde.
