APC Lawmakers and Support Groups Back Tinubu for 2027

Several All Progressives Congress lawmakers and political organizations have launched efforts to secure the 2027 re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Representative Aderemi Oseni of the Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency pledged to deliver one million votes for the president in Oyo State, citing improvements in road infrastructure, tax reform, and the resolution of fuel scarcity as key drivers for victory.

In Ondo State, Representative Ayodele Adefiranye of the Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency secured the APC ticket for the 2027 House of Representatives election. Adefiranye expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for their support throughout the nomination process.

The Grassroots Movement for Tinubu in Ondo State also congratulated the party's National Assembly candidates and praised the APC National Working Committee for upholding the decisions of the Appeal Committee. However, the group criticized Commissioner for Women Affairs Seun Osamaye for challenging the party's authority and called on Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to ensure his appointees maintain party unity.
