Iranian Media Outlets Publish Videos Plotting Melania Trump Assassination

Iranian state-affiliated news agencies published AI-generated videos detailing assassination plots against First Lady Melania Trump and threatening Barron Trump.

The Tasnim News Agency and Mehr News Agency, both affiliated with the Iranian government and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, published a series of propaganda videos outlining methods to assassinate First Lady Melania Trump. The videos, including one titled "Where to Kill Melania?", analyze her security protocols and shopping habits in New York City, specifically targeting luxury retailers on Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue such as Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.

These publications suggest using the nerve agent VX to contaminate clothing or deploying explosive devices at department stores. The content proposes bribing personal stylists or hospital staff to gain intelligence and identifies the First Lady's fashion interests as a primary vulnerability. Both agencies concluded their videos with direct threats against Donald Trump's son, Barron Trump. These digital threats coincided with the appearance of billboards in Tehran depicting the Trump family in coffins.

The United States Secret Service confirmed it is investigating the videos but declined to discuss protective intelligence details. In response, Donald Trump warned that he has authorized the U.S. military to destroy all areas of Iran if the regime acts on threats against him. These developments follow a broader campaign of hostilities, including a $10 million bounty for the president's assassination offered by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.
