Narendra Modi Sets World Instagram Record Addressing Exam Leaks

Prime Minister Narendra Modi broke the global Instagram reel record with 303 million views while announcing fast-track courts to combat competitive examination paper leaks.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi set a new global record on Instagram after a reel addressing competitive examination paper leaks surpassed 303 million views within 24 hours. The video outperformed the previous record of 300 million views held by internet personality IShowSpeed, garnering over 16 million likes and 1.5 million comments while adding nearly one million new followers to the Prime Minister's account.

The digital outreach coincided with nationwide student protests, including demonstrations at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, where youth demanded accountability following irregularities in exams such as NEET-UG 2026. In a late-night selfie video, Modi assured the student community that the administration views malpractices as a grave concern and is working to ensure students do not lose an academic year through coordinated re-examinations.

To curb future leaks, Modi announced that the Union Cabinet will establish a legal framework for fast-track courts and implement severe penalties for those involved. On Friday night, the Prime Minister posted a follow-up message thanking young viewers for their constructive engagement and positive suggestions, describing the interaction as a way to strengthen his connection with young citizens.
