Blanche, who is expected to be confirmed as Attorney General this week, is moving to address concerns from anti-abortion rights groups regarding the availability of medication abortions.
To achieve these goals, the United States Department of Justice is anticipated to take action to crack down on the distribution and use of mifepristone and misoprostol. These medication abortion pills are currently utilized in nearly two-thirds of abortions across the United States.
