Abdulmumin Jibrin Predicts Tinubu Victory Over Kwankwaso in Kano

Representative Abdulmumin Jibrin predicted that President Bola Tinubu will defeat Rabiu Kwankwaso in Kano State during the 2027 presidential election. Speaking on Channels Television, Jibrin argued that the All Progressives Congress can counter the influence of the Kwankwasiyya movement because former associates, including himself, understand the strategies and weaknesses of the group.

Jibrin acknowledged that Kwankwaso maintains a strong supporter base in Kano but asserted that electoral dynamics have shifted. He noted that Kwankwaso is now the vice-presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress under Peter Obi, rather than the presidential candidate himself. While Jibrin described the upcoming contest as a "tough battle," he expressed confidence in Tinubu's eventual victory in the state.
