Nyesom Wike Sparks Backlash Over Osun Election Comments

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike sparked political criticism following remarks regarding the Osun election. During a press conference, Wike stated that the victory of Governor Adeleke proved the Federal Government did not use its influence to manipulate the results. He suggested that President Bola Tinubu could have ensured a different outcome if he had wanted to win "at all costs."
