Donald Trump Schedules Kentucky Rally to Support GOP Candidates

President Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Highland Heights, Kentucky, on Saturday, October 17, to support Republican candidates before the November 3 midterm elections. Organized by the Republican National Committee, the event specifically aims to boost support for Ed Gallrein, a Trump-endorsed candidate running for the congressional seat previously held by Thomas Massie.

This rally follows a broader campaign blitz across red and purple districts, including recent stops in Youngstown and Vandalia, Ohio. The effort comes as the Republican Party seeks to secure high-stakes races in both states. In Kentucky, Republican Andy Barr and Democrat Charles Booker are competing to replace retiring Senator Mitch McConnell.

In Ohio, Republican Jon Husted is seeking a full Senate term against Democrat Sherrod Brown, while Republican Vivek Ramaswamy trails Democrat Amy Acton in the gubernatorial race. These contests take place amid voter dissatisfaction regarding the ongoing war in Iran and the rising cost of living.
