Akhilesh Yadav Accuses BJP of Corruption and Oppression
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP of systemic corruption in infrastructure projects and oppressive policing during a press conference in Lucknow.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav launched a wide-ranging attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party during a press conference at his party's state headquarters in Lucknow. Yadav claimed the BJP's name represents corruption, oppression, and sin, alleging that the ruling party presided over systemic corruption during the construction of the Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, and Lucknow-Kanpur expressways.
Beyond infrastructure, Yadav accused the government of allowing land mafias to encroach upon ponds throughout Uttar Pradesh. He criticized the use of police force against youth protesters at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi and mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi's use of Instagram reels.
Yadav also raised concerns regarding the alleged theft of Ram dhan and questioned why no legal action was taken against an individual who reportedly portrayed Lord Hanuman in a derogatory manner during a visit by Nitin Nabin.
