Benjamin Netanyahu Warns Enemies Against Attacks Before Elections
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned adversaries against testing Israel's defenses before upcoming elections, pledging a forceful response to any provocations in the West Bank.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Israel's enemies against launching attacks during the period leading up to upcoming elections. During a visit to the northern West Bank near Tulkarem, Netanyahu stated that the Israel Defense Forces are prepared for all scenarios, including the possibility of Palestinian Authority security forces turning their weapons against Israel.
Netanyahu cautioned that any such provocation would be met with a level of force "beyond anything you have ever imagined." He reaffirmed Israel's commitment to maintaining security and control from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean coast, asserting that no Arab army will exist west of the Jordan.
Accompanied by the defense minister, national security adviser, and the commander of the IDF Central Command, the Prime Minister praised military operations in the Tulkarem refugee camp. He characterized the camp as a former "bastion of terrorism" and rejected the possibility of a Supreme Court decision allowing displaced residents to return, labeling them as terrorists.
