Russian Missile Destroys US-Owned Drone Factory in Kyiv

Russia launched a ballistic missile strike on a Kyiv drone factory owned by US-based Terminal Autonomy, marking the first single-strike target of a US corporation.

The Military of Russia used a ballistic missile on Friday to destroy a drone factory in Kyiv, Ukraine. This strike represents the first time Moscow has targeted a facility owned by a United States corporation during the conflict.

The facility was owned by Terminal Autonomy, a Delaware-registered firm specializing in AI-guided deep-strike loitering munitions. The factory produced AQ-400 Scythe and AQ-100 Bayonet drones, which feature guidance systems specifically engineered to resist Russian jamming signals.

The Russian Ministry of Defence confirmed the attack through the Tass news agency, stating that specialists from a Ukrainian-American company were working at the site. No fatalities were reported following the strike.
