Voters in Three Montgomery Counties Cast November 3 Ballots
Voters in Pennsylvania, New York, and Tennessee head to the polls for a mix of gubernatorial, congressional, and local elections.
Voters in three different Montgomery Counties across Pennsylvania, New York, and Tennessee cast ballots on November 3, 2026, for a variety of state, federal, and local offices.
In Pennsylvania, Neil Makhija and the Montgomery County Election Board managed 431 precincts with nearly 2,000 temporary poll workers and canvassers. The county reported high mail-in activity, receiving 125,124 applications and accepting over 90,000 ballots. To prevent mail delays, officials deployed 18 drop boxes, including a primary site at One Montgomery Plaza in Norristown. Key races include the gubernatorial contest between incumbent Democrat Josh Shapiro and Republican Stacy Garrity.
Local issues also feature on the Pennsylvania ballot, with Conshohocken voters deciding on a government study commission and Hatfield Township residents voting on an earned income tax increase for open space preservation. Meanwhile, voters in Montgomery County, New York, are deciding races for the 20th and 21st Congressional Districts and local highway superintendents in Florida and Minden.
In Montgomery County, Tennessee, the Election Commission and the Secretary of State urged citizens to review proposed constitutional amendments before heading to the polls.
