APC Youth Group Pledges 10 Million Votes for Tinubu

The Youth on Ground Progressive and Mentorship Initiative (YOG), a movement of All Progressives Congress youths, pledged to mobilize 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu's second-term bid in the 2027 presidential election. During a press conference in Abuja, the group announced a mega rally scheduled for November 2026 to formally declare support for the president and his Renewed Hope Agenda.

National Coordinator Obioma Nwuba urged the presidency and the APC Progressive Governors Forum to partner with YOG, positioning the organization as a structured vehicle for grassroots delivery. Nwuba demanded increased youth inclusivity in governance, arguing that young Nigerians should be treated as genuine stakeholders rather than political thugs. He specifically called for the integration of YOG's Agro-Tech and skills acquisition programs into federal and state schemes to improve food security and employment.

Established in August 2025, YOG focuses on civic engagement, policy advocacy, peacebuilding, and economic empowerment. The group is currently building a grassroots network across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones to translate government policies into tangible benefits and provide the foot soldiers necessary for the 2027 campaign.
