Donald Trump used the power of the presidency to publicly promote Freedom Fuels Network, LLC, a discount gas station operation with a few dozen locations across Philadelphia and South Jersey. The venture was launched on June 23, 2026, by a group including former Evesham Mayor and NFL kicking coach Randy Brown, along with Yoni Gontownik and Shamikh Kazmi of Universal Property Services.
The group originally approached the White House with a proposal to restart an idled oil refinery in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. They intended the refinery to combat fuel price increases resulting from the Iran war, but the project stalled. Following the failure of the refinery plan, the group pivoted to the discount gas station model, which the president promoted shortly after its launch.
