Elijah Ayodele Warns APC Against Overconfidence for 2027 Election

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, warned President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) that relying on financial influence and overconfidence will lead to failure in the 2027 presidential election. In a statement issued by media aide Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele asserted that the ruling party's belief that money can secure victory will fail because widespread hardship and insecurity have hardened the resolve of ordinary Nigerians.

Ayodele cautioned that portraying President Tinubu as a "demi-god" would be a strategic weakness that could result in a massive rejection at the polls. He further stated that the Presidential Campaign Council cannot shift public sentiment unless the administration immediately resolves the economic and security crises facing the country.
