President Bola Tinubu Reaffirms National Commitments After Saudi Visit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to national development and the prosperity of Nigeria following a spiritual journey to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. During the visit, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman granted the president and a Nigerian delegation the rare privilege of entering the Holy Ka’abah in Makkah to offer prayers.

Tinubu described the experience as historic, noting that the fencing of the Ka’abah was in Nigeria's national colors. He stated that he prayed for wisdom and resilience to serve the Nigerian people, characterizing political authority as a trust from Almighty Allah that must be exercised with humility and responsibility.

Addressing the state of the nation, Tinubu asserted that the foundation of the national economy is solid and that the country has emerged from a "dark tunnel." He further emphasized the necessity of investing in the future of young Nigerians to ensure a positive legacy for current leadership.
