Trump to Unveil AI-Powered America.gov Portal

President Donald Trump will unveil America.gov on Tuesday, a new AI-powered website intended to simplify how citizens access federal government information and resources. The portal aims to replace the existing maze of various agency websites with a single front door to improve the overall citizen experience.

The launch event will take place at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., and will feature senior administration officials alongside industry leaders such as Elon Musk and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. The agenda for the day includes panel discussions focusing on health, space, agriculture, energy dominance, and AI.

U.S. Chief Design Officer Joe Gebbia, who led the development of the tool, described the project as part of building a "golden age of the citizen experience." Gebbia argued that interacting with the federal government should not be negative or difficult, framing the portal as a way to make it easier for the public to access government services.
