Governor Siminalayi Fubara Endorses President Bola Tinubu for 2027

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027 during a meeting of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council in Port Harcourt. Fubara described Tinubu as a dedicated and patriotic leader, arguing that leadership continuity is essential for investor confidence and sustainable development.

Fubara cited the coastal road project and broader economic reforms as evidence of the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda over the last three years. He compared the need for stability in leadership to a football coach who does not change a winning team. The governor, who joined the All Progressives Congress late last year, emphasized that rallying behind the president is necessary to deliver equitable development across all regions.

The gathering included traditional rulers from the South-South, South-East, and South-West zones. In addition to the presidential endorsement, Fubara advocated for stronger regional collaboration among southern states to improve security and economic growth, while the council focused on the role of traditional institutions in promoting peace and unity.
