Kashim Shettima Confirms 2027 Vice Presidential Candidacy to Tinubu

Vice President Kashim Shettima presented official confirmation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday that he has submitted his name to the Independent National Electoral Commission as the All Progressives Congress vice-presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

The presentation took place at the State House in Abuja. This move follows the official unveiling of Shettima as the President's running mate, effectively ending public speculation that the APC might choose a northern Christian to balance the ticket for the upcoming cycle.
