HP Launches RTX Spark Laptops and AI Workstation

HP announced the OmniBook AI laptop portfolio and the ZGX Fury workstation featuring Nvidia chips during a joint event with Microsoft Corporation.

Following a brief leak of pricing on its online storefront, HP Inc. officially announced the pricing and availability of its OmniBook portfolio powered by the Nvidia RTX Spark chip. The OmniBook X 14 and OmniBook Ultra 16 are scheduled to launch on October 16, 2026, with starting prices of $2,999.99 and $3,199.99, respectively. The high-end Ultra 16 variant can reach $4,999, featuring up to 64GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. These devices are designed to run AI models locally to eliminate cloud dependency.

During a Microsoft Corporation event featuring Satya Nadella and Jensen Huang, HP also demonstrated the ZGX Fury workstation. Powered by the Nvidia GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip, the workstation is intended for developers and data scientists to deploy advanced AI workloads on-premises.

HP plans to further expand its AI capabilities by integrating Perplexity-powered experiences into consumer PCs starting in November 2026, which will include a one-month free trial of Perplexity Pro for eligible devices. The OmniBook laptops will be available through HP.com and major U.S. retailers including Best Buy, Costco, and Walmart.
