Representative Subramanyam Proposes Data Center Rules and Hegseth Impeachment
Representative Subramanyam is calling for federal data center regulations, the impeachment of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and a block on a proposed victory arch.
Representative Subramanyam is advocating for a federal blueprint to regulate data center construction, arguing that local-level decision-making allows the industry to steamroll communities. He contends that federal guidelines are necessary to prevent facilities from being built too close to schools and homes and to stop power lines from crossing residential areas.
Beyond infrastructure, Subramanyam announced that the incoming House majority intends to investigate government corruption, specifically targeting contracts allegedly awarded based on loyalty to the president. He called for the resignation and impeachment of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, stating he was never fit for the role.
Subramanyam also expressed strong opposition to President Donald Trump's proposal to build a victory arch at Arlington National Cemetery. He pledged to use the power of the purse to ensure the project receives no funding.
