Donald Trump Threatens Fox News Over Rally Coverage

President Donald Trump threatened to boycott Fox News and warned the network could go out of business after it failed to cover several of his campaign rallies.

President Donald Trump vowed to stop watching Fox News on Sunday after the network failed to cover his Saturday night campaign rally in Vandalia, Ohio. Writing on Truth Social, Trump warned that the conservative network could go out of business or suffer ratings declines similar to CNN and MSNBC if it continues to inadequately cover his events. He specifically criticized the Sunday morning program Fox & Friends and questioned the network's decision-making process.

Trump claimed the network also ignored previous rallies in Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma. He targeted panelist Jessica Tarlov as stupid and defended former host Maria Bartiromo, who was fired in September after allegedly complaining about restrictions on covering the president. The Ohio rally was held to support Republican Senator Jon Husted and gubernatorial nominee Vivek Ramaswamy ahead of the November 3 midterms.

While Trump claimed a total lack of coverage, reports indicate Fox News mentioned the rally during its Sunday morning broadcast in relation to the president's defense of data centers. This public dispute follows a period of alignment where Fox News issued a public statement supporting Trump's decision to ban CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from the White House press pool.
