Israeli Strikes Kill Five People Across Gaza Strip

Israeli military strikes and gunfire killed five people across the Gaza Strip on November 3, including displaced persons and a Hamas security member.

The Israeli Defense Forces killed five people across the Gaza Strip on November 3, 2026, using air strikes, drone attacks, and gunfire. In Khan Younis, gunfire in the al-Batn al-Sameen area killed a young man and injured a woman and a child. Additional strikes in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, targeted a tent for displaced people, killing Mohammed Shalouf, a member of the Hamas internal security service, and two others.

Separate operations in other regions resulted in two more deaths: one person was killed by a drone strike in a Gaza City park, identified as 17-year-old Rimas Al-Madhoun, and another died from drone shrapnel in central Gaza. The Israeli military stated it "struck several terrorists" during these operations.

These attacks occurred despite a United States-brokered ceasefire that took effect on October 11, 2025. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has maintained that Israel will not cease strikes or withdraw from Gaza until Hamas surrenders all weapons. According to the Gaza Strip Health Ministry, the total death toll since October 7, 2023, has reached 74,609, with approximately 1,600 Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began.
