The event, held at Namo Ghat over the Ganga River, featured a wide array of aircraft including Rafale, Su-30MKI, MiG-29, Mirage-2000, and indigenous platforms such as the Tejas and LCH Prachand.

The display included precision maneuvers by the Sarang helicopter display team and the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team, alongside coordinated formations named Omkar, Bhagirathi, and Kashi. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also attended the commemoration.

During the event, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh outlined a vision for theaterisation. He advocated for a military structure tailored to India's security requirements, which he described as requiring "centralised control" and "decentralised execution."
