Russia Faces 1.4 Million Casualties Amid Stalled Ukraine Offensives

The Russian Federation has incurred approximately 1.4 million battlefield casualties since its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. These additional forces would likely be deployed to secure full control over the Donbas region, specifically the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, where Russia currently controls over 90 percent of the territory.
