Nvidia Leads Massive AI Infrastructure Expansion Across India and USA

Nvidia established expansive AI infrastructure partnerships with Indian firms and Meta Platforms, committing billions in hardware and technical support across two continents.

Throughout February 2026, Nvidia executed a series of high-scale infrastructure and strategic deals to dominate the global AI compute market. During the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, the company partnered with Yotta Data Services, which committed over $2 billion to deploy 20,736 Blackwell Ultra GPUs in Greater Noida, and Larsen & Toubro to build gigawatt-scale AI factories in Chennai and Mumbai. To secure future demand, Nvidia also partnered with venture firm Activate and nonprofit AI Grants India to provide technical expertise and compute access to 10,000 early-stage founders.

Simultaneously, Nvidia formalized a multi-year partnership with Meta Platforms to deploy the new Vera Rubin architecture. Meta plans to spend $135 billion on AI infrastructure in 2026 alone as part of a larger $600 billion U.S. investment plan through 2028. This includes the construction of the Prometheus supercluster in Ohio and the Hyperion campus in Louisiana, marking a shift toward full-stack, liquid-cooled rack systems.

In tandem with these hardware deployments, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, signed seven agreements at the New Delhi summit. These include establishing a United Nations International Computing Centre of Excellence for AI and Quantum in Amaravati and a partnership with IBM India to skill 100,000 youth. While Nvidia executives noted that India's government funding for the IndiaAI mission remains insufficient for population-scale AI, they highlighted a new 20-year tax holiday for foreign data center services as a critical growth catalyst.
