Governor Aiyedatiwa Unveils APC Mobilization Strategy for 2027 Elections

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa convened the APC Elders Council in Akure to launch a 2027 election strategy and call for party unity.

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa convened a meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders Council in Akure to unveil a mobilization strategy for the 2027 general elections. During the gathering, Aiyedatiwa directed the activation of the Elders Council across 18 local government areas to strengthen grassroots structures and urged party members to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Aiyedatiwa warned against the creation of factions, asserting that the party remains a single, united entity in the state. He used the meeting to highlight his administration's progress, citing the recruitment of over 6,000 civil servants and the completion of infrastructure and healthcare projects, including new hospital facilities and the Akure flyover.

APC State Chairman Kolawole Babatunde and Elders Council Chairman Senator Nimbe Farukanmi supported the call for unity. Both leaders emphasized that the experience of party elders is critical for maintaining stability and ensuring growth as the party prepares for the upcoming polls.
