Abhijeet Dipke Demands Case Withdrawals After Modi Forgives Students

Following student protests over the NEET paper leak at Jantar Mantar on July 20, Narendra Modi released a video on Instagram stating he had forgiven the students who used abusive language against him and his late mother. The Prime Minister asserted that guiding these children is the government's duty and that punishing them through courts would not change the situation.

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, rejected the social media gesture, arguing that forgiveness on Instagram does not replace the need to withdraw criminal cases. Dipke demanded that the Prime Minister formally apologize for what he described as unprecedented police brutality during the protests, citing reports of head injuries, fractures, and pellet gun wounds resulting from lathi-charges.

Dipke further criticized the legal double standard, questioning why students face Zero FIRs for vulgar language while the Bharatiya Janata Party IT cell allegedly avoids prosecution for hurling abusive messages and rape threats at women. Speaking from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dipke maintained that a formal apology for government violence must precede any discussions of forgiveness.
