Benjamin Kalu and Tompolo Strategize for Tinubu 2027 Re-election
Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu and Tompolo partnered to mobilize grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid in southern Nigeria.
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu met with Government Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, to strategize for the 2027 re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The meeting took place in Abuja following the commissioning of the national secretariat for the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement.
Kalu and Tompolo, the movement's convener, focused on youth engagement, voter sensitization, and grassroots mobilization. Their efforts specifically target the South-South and South-East geopolitical zones to deliver the administration's Renewed Hope message directly to households and polling units.
During the event, Kalu praised President Tinubu's economic reforms and his assent to the South-East Development Commission Act. He noted that the act is a critical step toward addressing infrastructure and reconstruction priorities within the South-East region.
