The president states that Iran agreed to forgo nuclear weapons and submit to high-level inspections indefinitely. He further highlighted the resumption of oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz as a key success.

These claims contrast with a national poll conducted by The Economist/YouGov, which found that only 25% of Americans believe the U.S. won the war. According to the data, 41% of respondents believe neither side won, while 22% believe Iran emerged victorious.

Public skepticism remains high, with 81% of polled Americans believing that negotiations are likely to fail and the war will restart. While claiming a comprehensive victory, Trump has previously suggested it would be unfair to deny Iran ballistic missiles if neighboring countries, such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar, continue to maintain them.
