Donald Trump Attacks Barack Obama and Michigan Senate Candidate

Donald Trump criticized Barack Obama and Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed on Truth Social following Democratic campaign rallies in Michigan and Ohio.

President Donald Trump launched a series of attacks on Truth Social late Saturday and early Sunday after former President Barack Obama held campaign rallies in Detroit, Michigan, and Cleveland, Ohio. Trump labeled Obama a "grossly incompetent President," claiming he provided Iran with a path to nuclear weapons and failed in his endorsements of Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris.

Trump also targeted Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in Michigan, calling him a "Muslim Brotherhood Jihadist" and a "Fake Doctor" who operates the "WORST CLINIC IN AMERICA." He urged Michigan voters to support Republican candidate Mike Rogers instead.

These posts followed rallies where Obama campaigned for Democratic candidates. In Cleveland, Obama described Trump as an agent of "chaos and cruelty" and mocked the "drain the swamp" slogan, stating the only thing drained was the Reflecting Pool in the National Mall after a failed no-bid contract.
