Donald Trump Faces Health Speculation After Rally Video
President Donald Trump faced online scrutiny and health speculation after a video showed a boxy bulge under his suit during a New York rally.
Public speculation regarding the health of Donald Trump increased after White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared a video of the president leaving a rally at the Nassau County Police Academy in Garden City, New York. The footage showed a rigid, boxy outline protruding from the back of the president's suit, leading social media users to speculate he was wearing a medical device, a colostomy bag, or an adult diaper.
The incident occurred alongside reports that the 80-year-old president appeared to forget the name of New York attorney general candidate Saritha Komatireddy during the same event. These developments follow previous observations of the president falling asleep during public appearances, including a discussion with Medicare administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz and during his hush money trial.
White House physician Sean Barbarella has maintained that the president is doing well, attributing bruising on Trump's hands to aspirin use and frequent handshaking. Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency in July 2025, and Barbarella has attributed a neck rash to a preventative skin treatment cream. Trump previously stated his health checked out "PERFECTLY" following a six-month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Centre.
