Chris Beck Challenges Cliff Bentz in Oregon 2nd District

Chris Beck is competing against incumbent Congressman Cliff Bentz for the U.S. representative seat in Oregon's 2nd Congressional District. Beck's campaign focuses on protecting rural healthcare, preserving public lands, and restoring federal funding for wildfire prevention. He also advocates for ending the war in Iran as a means to lower fuel costs for local farming and ranching communities.

Cliff Bentz has taken a different legislative approach, voting to cut nearly $1 trillion over ten years from the Affordable Care Act, SNAP food benefits, and Medicaid. Bentz maintains support for President Donald Trump, whose administration policies include a 40% cut to wildfire prevention funding and the sale of public lands for oil and mineral extraction.
