John Healey Appoints Manifesto Author Ravinder Athwal to Treasury

Chancellor of the Exchequer John Healey appointed economist Ravinder Athwal as a senior special adviser to the Treasury. Athwal, who authored the Labour Party's 2024 manifesto and Keir Starmer's five missions, joined the government from the business advisory group Flint Global ahead of the October 28 budget.
