Olujonwo Obasanjo Joins Movement Supporting Bola Tinubu Re-election
Olujonwo Obasanjo joined the Tinubu Movement for Sustainable Governance Foundation to support President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election and policy continuity.
Olujonwo Obasanjo, son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, joined the Tinubu Movement for Sustainable Governance Foundation (TMS) to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027. During a press conference in Abuja, Olujonwo stated that his decision stems from a need for policy continuity and the accurate communication of the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda.
Olujonwo, who has been a member of the All Progressives Congress since 2014, argued that government achievements regarding student loans and investment are frequently distorted by misinformation. His entry into the movement, also known as Tinubu Must Stay, marks a public divergence from his father, who supports Peter Obi for the 2027 election.
TMS leadership welcomed the move by linking Olujonwo's family history of economic reform to current government initiatives. National Coordinator Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi and Director-General Marcel Ngogbehei emphasized that the movement aims to strengthen institutional development and engage the public through factual transparency. The organization continues to advocate for President Tinubu's leadership beyond 2027 to avoid reversing current economic policies.
