APC Launches 2027 Campaign in Enugu State

The All Progressives Congress launched its campaign for the 2027 general elections on Wednesday at the Nsukka Township Stadium in Enugu State. Party leaders and stakeholders used the event to pledge voter mobilization for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Peter Mbah.

During the rally, Mbah defended his administration's record by citing investments in healthcare, security, and education. He specifically highlighted the recruitment of over 6,000 teachers and the Smart Green Schools initiative. On infrastructure, Mbah noted the dualization of the Penoks–T-Junction–Ugwogo-Opi-Nsukka road and the launch of Enugu Air, which he stated will soon provide direct flights to China, the United States, and London.

Mbah credited the fiscal opportunities available to the state to federal interventions, including the South East Development Commission, and the economic reforms of President Tinubu. The APC announced that the Nsukka event serves as the start of a broader statewide campaign tour.
