Donald Trump Orders Ad Blitz to Nationalize Midterm Elections

President Donald Trump ordered a television ad campaign highlighting his record to support Republican candidates in the upcoming midterm elections.

President Donald Trump ordered a series of television advertisements highlighting his own record to support Republican candidates in the upcoming midterm elections. During an Oval Office meeting with political advisers, Trump rejected suggestions from GOP strategists to focus on local issues, arguing that Democrats will inevitably make the elections a referendum on his presidency.

The campaign is funded by the $400 million war chest of the MAGA Inc. super PAC. It aims to create an environmental lift by nationalizing the races around Trump's claims of victory regarding border security, domestic manufacturing increases, and stock market highs. This strategy follows a campaign stop in South Carolina for Senator Darline Graham, where Trump urged supporters to treat the midterms as if he were on the ballot.

White House spokesperson Olivia Wales stated that Trump is committed to maintaining Republican majorities in Congress. To further nationalize the contest, Trump plans to host a two-day midterm convention rally in Dallas next month. The push comes as Trump faces record-low approval ratings linked to a conflict with Iran and voter anxiety over the economy.
