Tucker Carlson Calls for Donald Trump's Removal Over Nuclear Strategy

Tucker Carlson demanded the immediate removal of President Donald Trump from office, alleging the administration is considering a first-strike nuclear attack against Iran.

Conservative podcaster Tucker Carlson called for the immediate removal of President Donald Trump from office on Friday, arguing that any leader who considers a first-use nuclear strike forfeits the right to lead. Speaking with former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent, Carlson described the consideration of such weapons as a red line that risks destroying all of humanity.

The demand follows claims from Carlson and Kent that the Pentagon has discussed tactical nuclear options against Iran. These assertions were supported by Andrey Belousov, a special envoy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who claimed Washington is seriously considering nuclear scenarios in Iran and Europe. While the U.S. Department of War is reported to be refining a classified strategy involving short-range tactical weapons, Donald Trump has not publicly stated he is considering a first-use strike.

Donald Trump dismissed Carlson and other critics as losers, stating they are not part of the MAGA movement and that Carlson has lost his way. The rift occurs amid a broader ideological divide over the ongoing war with Iran, which has seen Trump's approval rating drop to 33% ahead of the November 3, 2026, mid-term elections.
