JD Vance Condemns White House Access Sales After Guilfoyle Resigns
Vice President JD Vance says those selling White House access should face consequences following the resignation of Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle amid payment allegations.
Vice President JD Vance stated that individuals selling access to the White House should face consequences, describing such actions as "disgusting and despicable." Speaking at a town hall in Michigan, Vance responded to allegations involving former U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle, who resigned on October 14 after the White House requested her departure.
Guilfoyle is accused of asking a Trump administration donor to pay a $100,000 bill, a claim she denies. President Donald Trump distanced himself from the former ambassador, noting she previously dated his son, Donald Trump Jr. White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia confirmed that Guilfoyle was asked to leave her post.
Separately, financial disclosures from the U.S. Office of Government Ethics revealed that Trump earned over $1.4 billion from cryptocurrency ventures in 2025. This income included earnings from World Liberty Financial and $TRUMP meme coins, sparking concerns over potential conflicts of interest which Trump has denied.
